Assembly section in drawing

Hello

How to drag a section of the 3D previously saved in an annotation view into a drawing.

The cross-sectional view appears in the view palette on the right but I can't drag it into the MEP.

We are with solidworks 2015 SP03

Thank you in advance

Hi my good Fifi,

The same topic here: http://www.lynkoa.com/forum/3d/inserer-une-vue-iso-en-coupe-dans-une-mise-en-plan

Basically, the solution you're hoping for doesn't work, but a fairly simple alternative is possible.

PK A simple cut in the MEP is not enough?

You also have to put the view that defines the section

and if the view that defines the section is outside the frame of the plane

@Samuel, did you see the video in the attached discussion?

Hello, yes there is a solution,

Your mistake is that you want to put your cut first, place the view you used to make your cuts (for example the front view) and then  place your cuts.

I hope I have been clear !!

May the force be with you.

Hello

Thank you for your contribution, indeed you have to load a 1st view (front) and then the cut and it works!

Re

And well no it doesn't work, I can put the view in the mep but this one is not in section!

Hello

Normally you should find all the views  in the view palette with  their name.

The view used for the section as well as the section view (in my example the top view and the section view a-a). You can see that on my top  view there is  the cut line.

Then a simple slide and you're done.

Kind regards.
