Hello
I got a drawing from a client that I need to modify.
There is a parameter that creates a block for me every time I copy/paste elements (a line for example).
And it names this block to me randomly, (for example: A$C2549147215)
This function is a bit annoying, and I imagine that it's a variable to change, but which one??
Any idea?
I am under autocad LT 2016
Hello
When you copy and paste, it's with ctrl-c then ctrl-v or with the right click copy and paste???

Do you have to name it manually to have your own ref
if you don't like its name in auto
via the Rename tool
See this link among others

Gt22 :
in fact I don't want the automatic creation of a block..
When I copy a line, I want to paste a line, not a block with the line in it.
AC COBRA 427 :
I have this problem with Ctrl-C then Ctrl-V

if you copy it seems to me that you automatically create a block on LT
so don't copy and create your lines

Try to see by selecting and then right-clicking and then go through the functions to see what it looks like because it marks the keyboard shortcuts. Normally to copy it's ctrl-c then paste ctrl-v and paste by ranting on block it's ctrl-shift-v... See what's marked when you click on a line and then right-click...
gt22: "so don't copy and create your lines" very funny..:-)
Thank you AC Cobra 427 for the trick of the Ctrl-Shift-V that I didn't know.
I don't have a lot of copy/paste to do so I'll break it down afterwards, but I would have liked to know this variable.
Thank you anyway!
