Creating a Reservoir

Hi all

I'm new to the forum, thank you for welcoming me.

I have to create a motorcycle tank under inventor, so I wanted some advice from you.

How will you do it?

Thank you very much!

On a technical level, if you want, you can try to send a PM to @Greg he will be happy to answer you =)

I don't know Inventor, but a scan of a sketch on a path should give you a good result.

thank you for your answers I'll ask Greg and thank you for the links;

I am indeed looking for a technique because for the moment I don't have very precise plans

See these tutorials among others

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=aJAlM8LEHp4

which concerns 3D sketches via 2 2D sketches via intersection projections

on this tutorial it's for a cable or tube but it allows you to create 3D curves so 3D profiles

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=on88I1eh5wI

which is about creating complex surfaces via already created baseline surface lines

Pure surface sketches / step-by-step sketches

to create a bottle with ref sketches duplicate on diferant plan via similar Catia block tool procedure
