Create an animation?

Hello

I need to create an animation from my assembly.

I would like to show just a few things that are under the crankcase.

What do you use to create an animation?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello

Well, SolidWorks is perfect if it's for a small animation.

What do you want to do? An animation with component moves? Or a visual stroll through the space of your assembly to present the whole?

if it's to show what's in it

A burst of assembly does the job well

If you want to see the internal parts with Solidworks Composer

@a.leblanc This is for a large animation with component moves

Otherwise, look at the Composer software (ex 3DVIA)

In this case, you will have to properly constrain your assembly with limited movements if there are any, and leave the necessary degrees of freedom for moving parts.

In the animation (motion study tab at the bottom of the window) you can include linear or rotation motors, manage speed parameters and random movements, you can include spring connections, contacts (cam) and gravity.

Then you will have to manage the timing of your movements with the keys, you should start with a little assembly to get the hang of it, watch tutorials.

Be careful, you have to orchestrate your actions from the beginning to avoid problems, especially on large assemblies.

Oh yes, a killer detail, it's not possible to switch from one configue to another during an animation, at least I haven't found it.
