Creo 3 how to remove the reflection on the floor

Hello.

I just switched to Creo4 thinking that the rendering would be simpler than in 3 and well... The pb is solved since PTC has partnered with Keyshot and thus, has simply removed  the ability to configure perspective and exports unless you buy keyshot. So I'm going back to creo3 to try to solve my problem.

In order to have a correct rendering, my client asks me to remove the reflection on the floor, but even if I set the reflection to 0 on the color of the floor, the image of the scene on the screen remains with a nice mirror.

Does anyone know how to suppress this reflection?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello

You have to go to the otpions, display of the model, and there is a box to uncheck to remove the reflection on the ground.

In Creo4, you can still use reflective shading and take an image out of your room.

Hello SB

Thank you for your answer, however in Option / Model Display; I have 8 parameters that I can check/uncheck in the Shaded model parameter section, but nothing about the reflection on the ground???

In addition, releasing an image with relfexion by "saved under a copy" in tiff for example gives a pitiful result.

a tip ;-)

you move your room a good distance from the ground

you may still have the reflection but outside the song of your room

Hello

I no longer have Creo 3 installed, but on the attached image, in English, the option to uncheck.

Thank you for your interest in my question.

Unboxing the model is a good trick but goodbye shadows.

For the option to be checked, there is no longer this possibility in creo4 at the place indicated by SB. Sorry I wasn't clear about the fact that I would like to stay in creo4. On the other hand, it put me on the track and we find this possibility directly by modifying the scene (see PC).

I don't dare to say that I solved the problem myself since I was helped, but it must be the only way to close the discussion ;-)

Thank you.

Yes, the option has been moved to creo4.

Indeed, I thought you were looking for the option in creo 3.

Think about improving the image output quality and shading quality.

That's what it looks like quickly.
