Creo: Managing Assembly Links

Hello

I got a business folder (40GB) which contains a lot of duplicates.

Is there a way to know who is calling whom but especially by which way, knowing that obviously the paths no longer exist?

Hello

In your assembly: Tools tab / reference viewer

You'll already have the links between sets or parts

Hello

The path doesn't matter, what matters is the name of the file.

All you need to do is that the parts are in the same directory as the assembly or that they are in one of your directories in the search.pro file

@s.b: The problem is precisely to recreate a valid search.pro.

The "folder" was stored on another network, so I have a file tree but with duplicates (of name precisely).

Well, in the end, Creo obviously doesn't keep track of the path (unlike SW).

So we created a search.pro to be able to load the templates, we're going to sort by business (already a lot of duplicates will be cleared by removing the backup directories).

@Tomalam: the tool is interesting but it "only" allows you to view the nature of the link, no info on the position of the file.
