Cswp

Hello everyone ,

I would like to know if anyone can have the Official Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) book

I would like to take the CSWP, but I don't have a document to prepare me

thank you in advance

Hello

It depends on which CSWP? Because there are a few. I am CSWP sheet metal, welded construction, and drawing. Then there is still simulation and surface etc.

I want to pass the CSWP CORE

Look in SolidWorks, there are tutorials or exercises to practice.

Hello

I have the CSWE (Expert) and CSWP Core as well as 6 other certifications (sheet metal, mechanically welded, etc.)  : nothing insurmountable in the CSWP for someone who knows SolidWorks well and is a little prepared.

Do you speak English? Because there is a lot more preparation material in English.

There are mock tests (shorter and simpler than the real test) here:

http://files.solidworks.com/services/certification/cswpcoresample2008.pdf

https://www.solidworks.com/sw/docs/CSWPSampleExam.pdf

Otherwise, you have to know ALL the topics of the CSWP especially the global variables, and equations :

The standard SolidWorks tools that can be used during the exam are :

  • Sketch entities (lines, rectangles, circles, arcs, ellipses, construction lines)
  • Sketching tools (offset, convert, trim)
  • Sketching relationships
  • Bossing and material removal functions (extrusions, revolutions, sweeps, smoothing)
  • Fillets and chamfers
  • Remains
  • Hull
  • Drilling assistance
  • Linear, circular, and zone-based repeats
  • Linked odds
  • Equations
  • Symmetry
  • Odds
  • Function conditions (start and end)
  • Multi-Body Parts
  • Nerve
  • Area of action of the function
  • Mass properties
  • Move/delete a face
  • Materials
  • Compulsory travel
  • Inserting components (new and existing)
  • Standard and Advanced Constraints
  • Reference geometry (planes, axes, stress references)
  • Functions in the context
  • Interference detection
  • Deletion states
  • Move/rotate the component
  • Assembly functions
  • Collision detection in an assembly
  • External references
  • Scenario tables
  • Model Dimensions and Objects

Hello PL

yes I know English and it's even in English that I got my CSWA

I'm going to take a look at the sites you proposed to me and see what I can title and thank you again.

For your information, I got the Cswp sheet metal a few weeks ago, I passed it in French.

I didn't have any particular problem, the only sticking point was when I was asked for the center of gravity. On one question, it was necessary to create a new origin and give the new center of gravity.

Apart from that, it's still standard folding. If you're used to folding, you won't have any problems;)
