In Solidworks 2021 Unable to Dimension Sketch and Drawing, Dimension Values Are Not Displayed

Hello

After completely uninstalling Solidworks with Total Uninstall and then reinstalling Solidworks 2021 SP0.

I can no longer quote my sketches or my drawings,

The same goes for the existing file before uninstallation, the sketched and drawing dimensions no longer appear.

Also, when I extrude a sketch with the boss feature, solidworks crashes.

Messaging

Solidworks module failed; sldrsu:00185258

Could you help me???

Is there a full SolidWorks uninstall tool to retry a new installation???

Hello

It seems to me that it's a matter of font size in the settings. With a size 1 it's invisible but the rating is there ;-)

This subject has been dealt with recently but I don't remember which colleague gave the Walkthrough (let him be thanked once again)

Thank you for your answer; But sorry, it's not that, I had tried it in 1st after finding this topic on your forum before engaging my question.

I'm backing up my system disk and I'm going to reinstall windows and all my software to do a brand new 100% clean installation

Do you have this problem for all your files or just one?

  • -  I already had this type of problem <DIM> in the dimensions was no longer present, it was  due to rights  problems on the C:\Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp\SOLIDWORKS\lang\french  folder once

 

  • - And also by corrupted dlls

Can be regenerate the following folder: C:\Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp\SOLIDWORKS\lang\english  by copying and pasting if you have other workstations or cleaner by repairing the installation.

 

click Start >
Setup > Programs > Programs and features.
2. Select the version of SOLIDWORKS you want to repair and click
Modify.
3. On the Welcome to SOLIDWORKS Installation Manager screen, click
on Repair Individual Installation (on this computer).
4. On the Products to be repaired screen, select the product to be repaired.
5. Turn off the rest of the products on the screen.
6. Click Repair.

If Admin installation, go through the admin console

This happens on all files, even those created before reinstallation.

I found a temporary solution by reinstalling windows 10 completely and then the old version SolidWorks.2020.SP0.Premium which worked.

but if I update to SolidWorks.2021.SP4.1.Premium, the dimensions no longer work, neither in sketches nor in drawings.
