Define a given displacement constraint

 Hello everyone,

There you go, I would like to define a linear displacement on a cylinder.

How is it possible to give a base point and an end point to the moving part of the cylinder?

You should specify on which software

 

Under catia V5 you create an assembly . Catproduct with at least 2 components. Catpart and you create your container

I'm in an assembly and I just want a linear translation but of a defined length.

Thank you for helping me but I just found it.

In the assembly you have to go into constraint, distance, define the length you want, then the starting distance and the end distance with respect to 2 faces.
