Defining Display States in a Part Family

Hi all

I would like to be able to modify the configuration of the part (Pc 1) which is in the assembly (Ass1) which is itself in Ass2 in the family of parts (called Ass2).

I had thought of doing $ETAT@Ass1@Pc1<1>, but it doesn't work. Do you have a solution.

For more details:

Ass2 -> a wardrobe;

Ass1  -> a drawer;

Pc1    -> the handle.

My final goal is to be able to use an excel form to modify the excel file of the Ass2 part family. Basically, create a configurator.

Hello

According to SW Help, the list of parameters is available here: http://help.solidworks.com/2015/French/SolidWorks/sldworks/r_Summary_of_Design_Table_Parameters.htm

The code for the display sets is: $état_d display

However, I do not believe that it is possible to manage the sub-assemblies and the parts that compose them in a single family of parts.

You need to create a family of parts for your sub-assemblies and one for your first-level assembly.
