In a thermal study with a symmetrical model that you will have cut in half, there is no symmetry condition to put in. You have to leave all the faces of your cup without any conditions (as a result they have no heat exchange with the outside which is the case in reality) (be careful not to put convection on it)

Yes it's possible but solidworks doesn't rebuild the symmetry part
