A recent question about the symmetry of a part in a new derivative configuration makes me think of this strange function for me
Is this the function present in insertion >function...?
For my part, I have never been able to reproduce the procedure, do you have an idea?
It's the same name but not the same behavior, hence the Function symmetric component folder and the function moved copy which is hijacked by SW to make a symmetrical derived configuration of the initial configuration.
However, it is impossible to reproduce it without using the Symmetry function.
