Drafted on mep

Hello

I can't fit the draft dimension of a boss in my mep. Can someone remind me how to do it, please?

The coast is not on any view. When I try to insert the objects of the model, sw tells me that there are none (I also tried with the hidden options...)

Info: it's on SW12.

Hello, have you looked in the view tab if it wasn't hidden?

Attach a photo that can be seen

Thank you

For the display tab, I think you're asking if it's well marked for the MEP?

Yes it is well marked for the MEP in the 3D model.

In the image, the dimension is added by making a vertical sketch and adding the dimension in the MEP manually.

Modification of my pb:In fact, I hadn't seen that sw inserted the dimension but in the iso view.

So now, I delete it (because moving doesn't work) and I try to re-import it into the view I'm interested in. But no way.

I'm trying to position the dimension on the front view, but sw side of the edge and not the face. And I can't get it right.

Anyone have an idea?

Try moving it with CTRL or also with ALT. Sometimes only one of the two works.

In this case, the solution is to draw some edges (in the drawing) on top of those in the 3D and to dimension these edges.

I know it's not great, but it's a way out...

What does the alt key correspond to?

otherwise control or shift doesn't give anything.

The coast appears seen from the front or straight but in "weird"...

Is it a body on Material Removal or on Bossage?

@ benoit.if: it's stripped on bossage.

Unfortunately this seems to be the way to coast for SW (American method?), I reproduced it on SW13.

So the only way out is what I suggested above: retrace in the drawing on the 3D to have a coherent dimension!

For the second image, I inserted the first one sorry, it's Friday...

At first glance it's weird but what is the shape of the boss seen from above? Does it take the dimension at an angle?

The shape obtained is pyramidal, and the dimension positioned on the edge in the mep according to the position he puts on the iso view.

But not on the 3D in the room...

When you measure the angle you have 20°?

My easy answer will be to say that there is a bug...

For the solution to the problem, see my answers above

Sorry to end the week like this, without any real solution! ;)

and if you do an automatic rating what does it look like

@gt22: i.e.? Can you specify the manipulation you want me to do?

@benoit.lf: yes there is 20°. (it's on the first image just in case when I make a sketch and re-dimension the angle by hand)
