I want to apply different materials to parts in order to carry out simulations later. I have the designations in the DIN EN10346 standard (I believe) of the following steels: - A80 DKP - S235JR - DX51 D+Z - DC01
In SolidWorks, to add a material using the editor, steels are arranged by numbers. Do you know what these numbers correspond to? How can I correlate designations with numbers?
To match the names you want, you just have to create a library of personalized materials and there you take the materials you are interested in and you change the name to S235JR for example.
Edit: it's the only way found to also make a material appear in the cartridge that speaks to the person of the fab because indeed the number is not the most known standard...
