Drawing a part to 3D print

Hello

I would like to know the essential steps to make a part that is going to be 3D printed.

When printing a machine body, we noticed the appearance of lines and not surfaces.

Do you have tutorials on how to do these steps properly?

Hello

In general, printing machines come with booklets that explain how to export the 3D and with which software to process the file. If you have lines and not a smooth surface, you should probably see the printing precision.

Make smaller passes so that the print lines are thinner and therefore become invisible to the eye, to touch it you have to reduce the passes even more.

Kind regards

Hello

What type of 3d printing do you use?

With fdm  (molten plastic), you will always have "strata" on the thickness and cross passes on the flats, you have to go through surface post-treatment
