Developed at the sheet level in automatic

Hello

In solidworks, following the insertion of a view on a drawing sheet, when you select "unfolded state" in order to obtain the development of the sheet metal part,  the software systematically switches to "custom scale", although the state view initially in "sheet scale".

As a result, scale errors can occur when exporting to dxf, since the scale of the view does not systematically correspond to the scale of the sheet, which can be a problem for the use of dxf in laser cutting for example.

It is therefore necessary to systematically check that the view is indeed in "leaf scale".

Isn't there a way to change the behavior of the software so that it doesn't change the scale settings when switching from a classic view to an unfolded view?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hello

It looks like a bug, is it the last available SP that is installed? Which version?

I'm in Premium 2016 x64 SP 2.0 version.

However, this problem has existed for several years.

Indeed, this is a known bug at SolidWorks and there is no Solution yet:

Sheet scale switches to custom scale by selecting the flat pattern view on the drawing view tab.

Otherwise, you have to create a macro, but you need knowledge of VBA.
