So I'd like to know if you have any idea of how to make a develop of a non-planar surface. Let me explain:
An automatic drilling robot will change programs, so we have to check that it always drills in the right places. To do this, I'm going to print layers of the different areas and then, based on reference points, overlay it on the part.
The problem is that the piece has a double curvature and so I can't make a realistic drawing.
I tried to do an extraction of a surface and then project the drilling pins on the surface, and then unbox it but because of the double curvature I end up with pitches between the false fasteners. I don't need to have a press of the whole part but just areas with holes.
