Dictionary

Hello

Out of simple curiosity, I wanted to know how to install a dictionary on SW 2014.

I saw in the options that you could indicate the path of a dictionary. On some sites, I understand that you can get the Word dictionary, but I don't see any more info...

It could be useful in some drawings...

Does anyone have the method to do it, and especially where is this famous Word dictionary?

Hello

To find the dictionary you have to browse the hidden folders and find a file in . DIC (and no, it's not salacious!)

C:\Users\"yourprofile"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\UProof

Edit: Here is a tutorial to find it more easily:

Then by following the solidworks help, we can easily add a location if I understood your problem correctly:

Hello

Unless I'm mistaken, Solidworks is based on the word dictionary natively.

Adding a dictionary simply allows you to add terms that are unknown to the word dictionary in a specific Solidworks dictionary.

Hello

@Cyril.f not even because you have the possibility to add words by a simple click on the "add" key.

may the force be with you.

Thank you for your answers, and sorry for the inconvenience, in fact, I realized that when I launched the spelling checker, nothing happened... So I thought I had to go and get the dictionary somewhere ... It's simply that there were no mistakes! Laughing out loud.

I'm pretty tired right now...; -P.
