after having followed two tutorials (the one from SLW and the one presented here), I still have as much trouble seeing clearly in the use of DIMxpert.
Are there any of you who would use it on a regular basis, and who would have a procedure to follow for its proper use? I'm starting to get my bearings about the management of annotation views (how to rebalance a dimension from one view to another), but I still have a lot of questions:
- How do I make absolute odds appear by default without having to manually regenerate them? (because it's misleading, the piece can be entirely tolerated while it lacks a lot of absolute odds)
- how to ensure that each dimension/tolerance is well positioned in an annotation view and does not fall into "unaffected objects"
- once the dimension is imported into the MEP, isn't there a faster way to change a tolerance than having to go back to the 3D and go get it in the "purple brush"?
