Hello dear forum!
One question is bothering me, following the presentation of SolidWorks 2024 in Lille last week, I learned of the disappearance of Photoview in favor of Visualize. I really like Visualize but not having the PRO version I continued to make my video renders via Photoview. But with the demise of the latter, the SolidWorks Pro versions will be upgraded with access to Visualize PRO? Or are you done with pretty 3D videos? Or we go on strike...
In my opinion finished, like the free Drafsight license, one day in the future the fixed licenses also in favor of the 3Dexperience and Vaseline is or will not even be offered!
With Dassault I've never seen a gift...
At the time Photoview was apart with Photoworks integrated maybe we will witness the same phenomenon...
In this case, Visualize would have already been integrated with the pro license.
For me the answer is unfortunately a foregone conclusion, you will have to take out the checkbook, or do without this feature...
If the animation part is important to you, you'll have to keep a 2023 version next to the 2024...
Knowing that you can now record under an N-2 version
I don't see any other free solutions for the moment...
Hello;
I came across this link at 3Dswsym... (the Solidworks forum...):
https://r1132100503382-eu1-3dswym.3dexperience.3ds.com/#community:yUw32GbYTEqKdgY7-jbZPg/iquestion:7Beof9BjQKSgVzFI2NK91Q
I don't really know what to think about it... it seems that there is a plug-in called STAGE (based on the Unreal Engine 5) to render from future versions of Solidworks (2024 and +)...
…
The Solidworks 2024 Help still contains a chapter dedicated to Visualize...
https://help.solidworks.com/2024/French/SolidWorks/install_guide/c_visualize_install.htm
It is possible to hope that it does not disappear just yet...
Kind regards.
