Is the free version of DRAFSIGHT limited by the provider?
I have pbs to scale my files on printer, in addition another pb on the storage and management of the file..., the file stored with "save as" on another directory than desktop is not usable.

I know AUTOCAD in the very old versions, I know the tools specifically drawing and my drawing is correct on screen.
I still have to buy but all the "paper space, object... etc."
On the other hand, if you can tell me some elements about the notion of read-only, it seems obvious but I'm not sure I understand what's hidden under this obvious terminology, I feel like I can draw" on a read-only file but on the other hand I can't store it which seems normal to me, Maybe a little comment would help me on this point?
Indeed, read-only means that one can only save under another name or in another folder. It's not directly related to DraftSight.
If the file is on the network, either the file is opened by a colleague or the entire folder is read-only: you cannot create or edit a file in that folder.
