DraftSight 2017 After Activation No More Nothing

Hello I reinstalled DraftSight 2017 following the hotfix but now I'm blocked because I do the activation with the two mails to validate but once this is done I click on activate the window disappears and I have the impression that a window launches and closes immediately

 

If anyone has already noticed this problem :/

I tried to install the hotfix but it tells me that it does not concern my installation.

I have already read these topics but unless I am mistaken, by installing the latest 2017 version, there is no longer supposed to be this problem?

yes but according to my reading you have to install the official one of the site 

to make it work

I downloaded and installed the 2017 SP1 version on this page https://www.3ds.com/fr/produits-et-services/draftsight/telechargementgratuit/ and I also tried to install the patch proposed on this same page

if I understood correctly if you download for windaube 64 bit which is in the orange box

you don't need the fix

It is also said that for Mac and Linux in 32 bit it doesn't work

As you do, by installing the official 2017 version... I thought there would be no more problems, but...

 

At home too, as I said in my conversation referred to above, I have two computers. One runs in 32 bits and is always connected to the Internet, the other, with which I work, runs in 64 bits and is, normally, not connected to the Internet.

 

To receive the activation messages, I had to use a different email address than the one I usually use. After one day I receive it, I activate the registration, and as you describe, the program will launch, then a little flash and it disappears. You start over two or three times, then you despair.

 

I follow the procedure read elsewhere on this superb forum, to restart the activation (go to regedit, find the SWActivation folder and delete it).

 

I start the activation request again, I receive the link and today the program works as long as I am connected to the Internet, but if I unplug the machine it asks to activate the program again.

 

Since I'm already desperate, I don't know what to do anymore because I can't leave this computer always connected to the Internet.

 

Does anyone have an idea?

No answer for MaD (apart from contacting the hotline and sharing your answer)

For drafsight you have to be connected to the internet for the license to work.

We have the same problem on a notebook in a company, no worries as soon as it is disconnected from the network, impossible to launch it.

Our computer scientist had contacted the hotline and it was the answer provided: no drafsight without an internet connection. (about 1 year and a half ago)

Unless changed with the new version...

I am up this post because it has been a while since I had used Draftsight, but today I find myself stuck with the same symptoms as MaD.

I've been fighting for 1 hour, I'm looking everywhere for the solution too.

I have Drafsight 2017 SP2, I saw that normally it was not affected by the bug that required the critical hotfix.

I reinstalled drafsight, I cleaned up the roaming folders.

Draftsight opens and I can't open a file from there, nor can I save a poor line. He gives an error

I have the same problem on a 64bits win7 PC with DraftSight 2017 SP2, I fill in the email address for activation, I click on OK, a window opens and closes immediately.

But I never receive an email so it's impossible to use the software...

If anyone has a solution?

I tried everything: reinstall/clean the registry/clean the PC, update ....

Or should we stop using this miserable software......

After 10 attempts and reinstallations, I put USA Florida instead of France during the activation, it worked the first time the email arrived directly

I put Florida too... it still doesn't work and my computer lags to death ... I tried everything... except to fiddle with the proxies because I'm not a lightning bolt in computer science.. I installed draft sight SP3, I even tried to install the patches, I went to uninstall my 2010 license I removed my anti virus .. I'm fed up ... it bugged after a Window 10 update ....

I'm facing the same problem (windows 7), because I have to reactivate it annually...

it's really problematic...

 

I re-installed the 2017 SP3, but nothing works.

I've tried other countries, and Florida too, but nothing works, I don't get an email.

I also meet this pb on many positions...

The PB is totally random... I got the pb on a freshly reinstalled machine.

I also tested without antivirus, shunting the firewalls in doubt... nothing to do.

Also tested the removal of SWActivation key and Dassault folder in program files... ect ect

And all of a sudden, it passes without knowing why....

I'm going to try to find an alternative to Draftsight because it's getting painful...

If you have a software to offer me by the way, I'm interested.

 

I had a similar problem this morning (on Win10 up to date).

Draftsight asks me to reactivate the software (free version) by filling out the form that appears on the screen. Once this form has been validated, no reactivation email is received.

As I have the same problem with Office365, I disabled my antivirus while I filled out the form, validated it, received the email and clicked on the link to reactivate Draftsight.

Then the antivirus was restarted and Draftsight was launched , which was perfectly functional.

I'm new to the forum and have the same concern as all of you.

I have a new PC running Windows 10. I installed Draftsight 2017, successful installation but no way to activate: lafen^tre opens then nothing

I don't have an antivirus (impossible to install Kaspersky)

I used to browse with the ancestor Windows XP with which I had no problem (except when they updated draftsight.........)

Have you since found the solution to the problem?

Other colleagues are on Windows 8 and have no problems......
