Draftsigth proxy issue

In the office, the can't activate DraftSigth because I get this error message:

 

"The activation server is not available, check your internet connection"

 

However, my internet connection works perfectly (on IE and Chrome). However, we have in our company a blocking of certain sites (youtube, facebook and others).

 

As the 30-day period is over, I can no longer open DraftSight but I still have access to the connection editor by checking "Edit DraftSigth Proxy Setting"

A window opens to connect to the proxy server and even our IT department still can't establish a connection.

 

Do you have a trick to solve my problem

I had the same problem and took it to my IT department.

Here is his answer, in part:

 

"It's simply because we go out to the Internet via a proxy that tracks Internet access, for legal reasons. Most of these software were not created to be used in enterprise infrastructure contexts, which means that they are not necessarily compatible with the use of proxies..."

 

The service didn't solve the problem since I don't specifically need DraftSigth in my daily life. If this should ever prove to be the case, I will ask them again... On the other hand, maybe the "little" explanation given above can help your IT department... Or not!...

As a result, the info service must open the proxy connection for Draftsigh and you must set the IP address and port of the proxy in the system options

However, be careful with updates: during an update, the authorization flies away and you have to start the operation again.

I had the same problem.

Message "Reactivate the product"

menu to change the proxy, while no proxy in the company.

The uninstallation and reinstallation of the latest version 2015 SP2 did not solve anything.

In fact, the activation remains in the registry.

All you had to do was delete the key (renaming the old key with the old extension just in case)

and everything starts again at 0, activation, message in the mailbox and Draftsight OK works.
