3D DXF from SolidWorks

Hello

I would like to know if there is a direct method to create a 3D DXF from SolidWorks.

I found this tutorial, but it's not practical to juggle between two softwares:

No direct solution?

For me, the DXF was simply 2D. For my personal culture, what is the purpose of the DXF 3D?

Hello, try with this tutorial http://www.mycadblog.fr/transformer-fichier-solidworks-en-dwg-ou-dxf-3d/

I hope I have answered your question, cordially

Hello

I'm desperately trying to do the opposite: http://www.lynkoa.com/forum/3d/import-assemblage-dxf-3d-dans-solidworks

Using the EXPORTSAT command I can't select anything viable. The following message appears: "No solids, regions, or bodies selected."

Thanks for the tip all the same.

@j.besnier : This is the same link @.PL posted after his question.

You have to save the Solidworks design in .sat format, then import this .sat with the Draftsight software, which is free.
From Draftsight, you can then record in Dxf3D.

To import ACIS SAT files to drafsight:

Type ImportSAT in the command bar.
Navigate to the ACIS file you want to import, and then click Open.
The command supports importing ACIS SAT files, from versions 1.05 to 10.00

@Tomalam: it's a request from a supplier, after that, what is it for: it has to go directly to certain machines for production, like the WWTP I imagine.
