Exchange of parts between topsolid and inventor, STP?

Hello everyone, I'm joining you following an import problem

We import projects under inventor, the source is topsolid, before (about 1 year ago) we did it not STP file there was no problem

But today importing into inventor,  in the assemblies we can no longer move the parts that make up the whole ... We thought it was from the export settings in TopSolid but they sent us multiple versions of files and the result is the same ..

we have opened old projects in STP from the same supplier and there is no problem, all the elements are manipulable.

Anyone have an idea why coins are blocked

it drives us crazy! :)

Hello

I don't know a pro of these 2 software mentioned, my if I understand correctly, you can't move parts of an assembly of a WWTP ...

To do so, you have to have the original files and transform them into a STEP with the option to create volumes , no surfaces...

and it works it creates separate pieces, but not constrained but free, ... that's what I do on Solidworks and it works well, of course it forms non-modifiable deadbody models, apart from adding material and drilling or removing material add, I think that all software works on the same principle, I know a little about Inventor, a very little Catia... That's it  @+.

Hello, yes that's exactly what we had on the previous file received

I would tend to think that it is at the level of the export parameters  that there is a difference.

But I don't know Top Solid at all:(

If a Top Solid user could bring their own lures:)

Is there one or more párameters  to find the "mobility" of the components?

Not a huge success my request:(

Good evening@hoxp

I understand your disappointment but here there are few speakers using Top Solid here, they are rather solidworkists.

Although you are very welcome among us; I wonder if you shouldn't try to find a more specialized forum on TopSolid. Like here for example

Kind regards

Keep us informed ;-)

Sorry Hoxp, but this problem is quite atypical.

Personally, I've never heard of a particular configuration for the step export.
