Automatic cage ladder

Hello

I am looking to automate the modeling of crinoline ladders (number of hoops, rungs, length of wires, ...)
I can't find the solution, I've tried with families of parts as well as by welded construction but I can't automate the addition of a bar according to the remaining dimension under the last one for example, so as not to adjust everything manually with repetitions.

The ideal would be to enter the height of the ladder and for the rest to be done automatically as on a configurator.
Any ideas of the method?

Hello

Have you thought about trying DriveWorks Xpress which is a module included in the SW license?
In my opinion, this is the best solution for this kind of need.
There is a tutorial integrated into SW quite well done to get to grips with it, and to glimpse the possibilities.

For a simple project like this, the equations in SW can help.
Attached, a beginning of a model, it's up to you.
I work in multiple bodies for this type of piece.
