SCU 2D and 3D scale?

Hi everyone

I hope everything is fine.

Please I want to know how to change the scale in Autocad 2013 from 2D (x,y) to 3D (x,y,z) and vice versa.

Thank you in advance.

:)

Hello Slim,

You should clarify your question because in fact you are talking about several things at the same time.

The scales are only used for presentations (paper outputs, PDF). Because you always draw on a scale of 1:1 in AutoCAD. You just tell him which unit of measurement corresponds to 1 drawing unit.

Then there is the General Coordinate System (GCS) which determines where the origin of the drawing  is (0,0,0)  and the direction of rotation (clockwise or trigonometric). This system is represented by the icon at the bottom left.

Finally, there are the views. That is to say, what is represented on the screen according to the point of view and orientation of the observer.

I guess what you want is to change your point of view while you're drawing?

To do this, the easiest way is to use the "ViewCube" (more for 3D.

If you want to change the coordinate system, use the coordinate manager (GESTSCU command).

Looking forward to your clarifications...

Hello

It's okay, I'm talking about visual styles. I found it:

Displays -> visul styles -> 2D wireframe or ....

Also at the top left you can change the style.

Thank you very much:)
