Ecran solidworks

Hello

I'm working with SolidWorks and I need to replace my 17" old screen!

What size do you recommend ?

What resolution ?

Which brand ?

Do you know of an interesting offer?

Hello

I say bigger the better!

Personally, I'm currently on a 24".

Hello

Personally I work on a 22" screen. This is a good compromise. However, I use a second 17" screen and it is very practical.

As far as the make and model are concerned. I think we need to move towards screens for workstations. Because they have advantages in terms of functionality, working comfort: brightness, settings, etc.

Kind regards.

I'd even say 2 screens is even better!

"Bigger is better", without neglecting the resolution. What is your budget?

What kind of design do you also do: small single parts or large machines with a lot of elements ?

Personally, I'm on double screens in 22'

The 2 are from the Compaq LA2306x brand

I've never had any problems, and they give a good rendering.

Value for money I have 2 IIyama 27 inch

HD resolution 1920x1080

it's the same resolution as the 24 but it allows you to have big icons and a nice work surface

The price around 300€ following promo

otherwise the most technical thing to see is

1- Resolution

2- Reaction time (1ms is clear and bright, 5ms is darker and convenient for word processing)

If you have the means an HP in 27 inch 2046x1920 at 1ms it's great

Now it all depends on your budget

To see the screen rotating the resolution, the USB port among others

What do you want to do with this screen

or 2 screens

Personally I have a 23" HD resolection, perfect for me.

See you soon

Be careful with the screen really too big, I worked on a 31 inch, it's very good for presentations, but it's horrible to work with.

Today, a 22, 23 or 24-inch screen remains a very good compromise.

Having experienced graphics card setbacks I can say that for 2 screens a dual gpu is advantageous

my config: nvidia quadro a k2000 with a 2783 IIyama for solidworks and a 600 with a 2773 IIyama for PDF and folder display

A 22/24 inch screen is very good if you work on a single screen (+1 fthomas for the screen that is too big).

Personally, I advise you to take two screens, then you can manage your toolbars and your workspace very easily.

In general, when you use two screens you use one for the SW graphic area and the other (the smaller one if there is one) for all the complements, modules, enlarged toolbars...

In any case, rather than taking one screen that is too big, I strongly advise you to take two smaller ones!

You should especially check your graphics card to know if you can work with 2 screens.

Personally: 2 24" screens, it's good!

Hello

24" is not bad, if you take bigger you have to be far from the screen if you don't want to put a terrible headache on your !!

Putting 2 screens at once will change your life, one for daily tasks EXEL, EMAILS, LYNKOA ... and the other only solidworks, so no need to lower and raise the windows non-stop!!!

2 screens in 24 P is the best

  • 1 for SW
  • 1 for desktop and web apps

Value for money 2 screens 24 = 1 screen 27

your BUDJET

How much do you have for your screen?

or how much are you willing to buy a screen?

From there we can look for something optimized

Do you do a lot in imagery, photo, rendering, etc....?

or simply design with little rendering

My little opinion ...

The size of the screen is a choice, (some people don't like big screens too much  )

On the other hand, the dual screen ... once you have tasted it... it's unanimous

My budget is 200€.

What do you think of the VIEW SONIC brand, is the resolution better?

I work on sets that do not exceed 2m. On the other hand, there are a lot of small parts and bolts.
