Highlighted Hidden Element SW 2014

Hello

Is it possible in Solidworks 2014 to show highlighted hidden items when selected in the tree?

Hello It depends on what you mean by hidden.

1°) If you are in the case where you have voluntarily hidden your part with the function (hide or delete) then it's almost no whatever the version. On the other hand, you still have a trick, it's that in the future manager the icons of the rooms hidden on purpose appear changed (gray instead of color) so if you hover over the room nothing happens but if you click on it it will appear transparent according to the parameters of your install. On the other hand, if your piece is lost in the middle of a bunch of subsets, it's better to know what you're looking for, otherwise you'll have to develop all the trees and that's not Glop.

2°) If it is hidden by other parts, which is the typical case in an assembly, then the answer is yes. You have to go to the settings with Tools==>Options==>Display==> select in the middle of the window what you want.

Don't forget to look at Tools at the same time==>Options==>View==>Color Combination Settings==> because this is where you can change the colors of your selections in the features manager (e.g.: Face selected, Shaded).

There must be other tricks but right now it doesn't come back to me :-)

Kind regards
