Vacuum cleaner nozzle

Hello

I'm looking to draw a suction nozzle (crevice tool) in order to print it.

I know it's not worth much but it also allows me to get used to drawing and printing.

I was thinking of starting with 2 dxf, a rectangle for the input side and a circle for the interlocking side on the tube and importing them and joining them but it's not great.

Do you have an idea?

Hello

Here's how to do it but the ribs are bogus!! It's up to you to take the measurements for the realization of your mouthpiece...

see attached file SW 2012

in volume via a straightening the smoothing can be controlled via a spline if desired

there for the example it's raw from raw ;-)

Just to quibble, why start with the spout already hollow?

I'd save the hull function for last and do everything at once.

@ stefbeno totally agree with you

this is what is done in my attached file (see SW 2012 file)

which of + is via my first sketch (which can be called smoothing length)

the dimension of the smoothing length can be modulated if necessary

@+ ;-)

And indeed, Coin37coin is right, nice job of explanation
