Stamping in a fold

Hello

I have to draw a support piece (in folded sheet metal) to fix two of my products together. Given the use of the products (risk of shocks) and their weight, I am afraid that a single bent sheet metal is not enough (not rigid enough).

My supplier therefore offers me two solutions:
- Make two stampings in the fold at 90°, on the other hand I have to go to 15/10 thickness instead of 20/10.
- Weld a reinforcement into the fold.

To have a costing for two solutions, I have to provide him with plans. On the other hand, I can't make a stamping in the fold. Do I have to make a stamping tool, knowing that I don't know what form of tool can be used?

I am attaching the native file (Solidworks 2016) of the part. Thank you for your help.

Thank you for the explanatory video (:

Hello

Here's a coin with a gusset, look at how it's made to use it. If you go to the sheet metal tab there is a gosset function that does everything automatically...
