I am currently working with the Solidworks 2014 software. I want to make a helical gear (it is a set of re-ensurfacing + worm gear) using an equation to generate the circle involute.
We don't have the toolbox option to generate gears automatically.
Do you have an online tutorial to help me on this point?
The toolbox only generates visual gears and not with the true circle involute curve.
See if you find the "altitech" library, it allows you to make the real profile of the gears
