Material removal on folded sheet metal

Hello

I'm coming to you because I can't do it. It seemed to me that I had already used a similar method, but it was impossible to find it.

I have to make a folded sheet metal with slotted holes along the fold to facilitate the folding...

Somehow I manage to do this by using "sketched fold" after making the slotted holes; But I wish I could do the opposite (I thought it was doable...:/).

I would first like to bend my sheet metal and then unfold it and remove the material in oblongs at the bend  line.

Only, I can only do my removal below my unfolded state function which "deletes" it at the moment when I delete the unfolded state ...

A solution?

Hello

I advise you to look at these questions, there is a lot of information and you will surely find what you are looking for:

In fact, you have to unfold the folds one by one with the unfold function, as indicated in the last question. If it's done on the unfolded state, it doesn't work.

Use theunfold tool, not unfold

In short:

Unfold, make cut(s), fold
