Material removal

Hello

I have a problem with the removal of material that does as it pleases! One time I have a clean cut and the next time I have what overflows on the photo that remains visible!

I'm attaching a picture of the manip I do!

I can't know where it comes from, especially since it doesn't do it all the time.

Thank you in advance for your answers!

Is it a part or an assembly?

Are the bottom plates created by repetition?

Do you have multiple configurations?

Hello

This is probably due to the fact that you select the components to be cut and these change in quantity, the new ones are not selected in the selection box.

This may be your case...

In the photo, nothing protrudes except for the plates to be cut.

Isn't it possible to select "All components" in the action area?

hard to see where you're making your cut

but if you have symmetries often the cuts don't follow

so make your separate parts save the

and insert them into your assembly

Take a screenshot with your feature eat in playback to the right of your removal of material to better visualize

Hello

As you have a large part and you cut something small, there may be a problem related to the precision declared in the parts.

First of all, thank you for your answers!

My version is Solid 2013, yes it's an assembly, yes the floor is a repetition, and yes I have several configurations of my assembly, that's to answer your questions.

In fact I manage to do my material removal well but when I close my assembly and open it again sometimes it leaves me some of the parts that are cut!

I'm attaching a picture of what I normally get!

I hope I have been a little clearer!
