Bulk STL registration

Hello

Following my previous topic: http://www.lynkoa.com/forum/3d/macro-stp-stl and on the advice of @.PL I am posting this new question.

Indeed, I would like to make a recording of parts in STL/stp or igs with configurations directly from an assembly. For example, I assembled this robot which is 3D printable: https://grabcad.com/library/darwin-mini-1

So I have quite a few parts that have a right/left configuration and converting files to STL, stp or igs takes time each time. So I'm looking for a way, either through a macro or a software to do this.

What I would also like is to have the part in stl according to this name: "nom_configuration" + "part name" .stl

Hello

Tools such as BatchConverter in the MyCadServices suite do this.

Otherwise the macro pros may have already done this.

Kind regards

Hi, I don't understand where you're stuck. Do you have a good knowledge of VBA programming? I think you have almost all the cards in your hand, and I thought that the problem was not directly related to OA previous question.

The problem is that I don't have too much knowledge of VBA programming. I more or less understand the code, but from there to writing the code to meet my needs is a big step :)

OK sorry we misunderstood each other then, because in your last answer on the other question you wrote "I still have to modify" and I thought you were asking for something else afterwards. I don't really have time to test a macro and it's not in my habit to write full macros. Try it and ask the questions where you get stuck! It is by making mistakes that you learn and the VBA is really useful in many cases.

To see if someone here wants to make you this macro, if not you have to go through utilities like Batch Converter indeed. From memory the license for BatchConverter alone is 69€ (but I can make you the macro for less than that :-p)

Arfff it's a shame, because it would have helped me a lot...  That too would have been full of people

I'll see if I can't do something or if members don't already have the macro done

To accompany an introduction to VBA, it may be interesting to watch my tutorial, where I have commented on each line of code here:
