Save SolidWorks 2015 part to SolidWorks 2014

Hello

Can a part built with SolidWorks 2015 be registered as a SolidWorks 2014 version?

Thank you.

I wish... it would solve a lot of problems!

On the other hand, you can get around the problem by registering a STEP ... you just lose your design tree (but you have the general shape, and you can rework the part)

There you go, coincoin says it all^^

It is impossible to go in this direction. As soon as a piece is saved in a higher version. Unable to re-open it on the previous version.

Unless, of course, you export it in another format.

If you have the Premium version, you can still do a function recognition, once the import of your step is finished. That way you will have a construction tree, it will probably not correspond to the basic one but it is still that.

Attention, subject in doubt

Hello, it seems to me that for a few versions of SW you can open a file of a version of the following year if you have installed the latest SP.

So in your case, open an SW15 file with an SW14 SP5.0!

This manipulation is not possible. (seen with SolidWorks Support)
