Hello I use PDM and I make a tree copy to retrieve a project and reuse it by modifying it. Everything works but I did a performance analysis and he tells me that I have a lot of parts that are from an old version of SW I thought that by making the copy, or at least recording the assembly, all the parts were converted. This is not the case
How do you always have your parts saved to the latest version? (just to improve performance)
Thanks, are you talking about the parent assembly? I recorded the assembly, but for example the first part, which is a ferrule, has always remained in the old version. I had to open this room and save it The problem is that I would like to avoid this for each part of the assembly
Yes, you have to click on save all. To my knowledge, I have no other choice than to open the assembly each time and convert. Otherwise you have to play with the tasks of the trunk but in any case it will be " manual " conversion. Whether it's through the chest or a take-home composition, SW only copies the file to another folder so it keeps the saved version (converted or not)
