Register a Solidworks Explorer Markup

Hi all

I have a small problem with SolidWorks Explorer.

I noticed that when you view a plan in SolidWorks Explorer, you have the option to add markings (not annotations) directly to the plan.

This allows me to directly point to an area to be modified or to highlight an error.

My problem is that I don't know how to save these markings. This would allow me to add markings on drawings made by colleagues so that they can modify them in the necessary areas (and so that they can do it on my plans).

If anyone has an idea on the use of these markings, I'm totally interested.

Thank you in advance.

Hello

What exactly is the problem? Is this SolidWorks or Edrawings file?

It is possible to create a markup, but it is not displayed when you open the file on another computer?

Using a PDMWorkgroup or Enterprise PDM vault?

Are the files in read, write? Are they on a network drive?

To be able to save the markings, the "revisable" option must be activated:

Edit: and the document must be measurable too it seems to me:

Otherwise, several discussions on the subject:

And if it's SolidWorks Explorer with a PDM, administrators must allow it:

Hello .PL,

We use a PDM workgroup vault.

I'm talking about files that we make in solidworks and view via soliworks explorer.

The files are in the vault and can be read  and written by the people who took ownership of them.

To add the markings, I tried to take the property on the plans, but nothing.

At the same time, I look at the links you sent me.

Thank you very much in any case for your help.

So for information, it's Edrawings that is nested in SolidWorks Explorer, so see the last link I posted.
