EPDM: Recover Parts Created Outside of EPDM

Hello

A customer (who has just equipped himself with EPDM) wants to entrust us with a file. Problem, we don't (and can't have) EPDM.

They did a few tests: creating a part outside of epdm, filling the personal prop, injecting the part into EPDM (I don't know exactly what they did) -> EPDM doesn't get the props in the data card.

I think it must be feasible but how?

Hello

Perhaps the easiest way is to access the client's EPDM database locally, retrieve the files and work with the files remotely, and then reconnect to the client's database to put the files back on the EPDM server.

In fact, the big problem is that the files don't exist. We are the ones who are going to create them (it's a new matter).

And we can't envisage creating them in advance.

See here:

A priori you have to use their templates (document template) for it to work:

It's doable without any problem.

Retrieve one of their parts in order to have the exact syntax of the custom properties, this is essential.

As you don't have EPDM, at your level you won't be able to do better.

It is your customer behind who must find the procedure to integrate your data. He will have to create a modus operandi and an integration life cycle

(to set the EPDM index with your index property for example).

In the past, I've done this before so it works.

That was what it seemed to me.

I'm going to send him back to their seller (I don't know who he is) so that he can fill them in.
