Equation with external reference

Hello

On one of my parts, I have the external reference symbol ( -> ) next to the equations folder, yet in the equations there is no external reference, is this normal?

Do you have a function in your tree that would have an external reference?

If so, isn't one of the dimensions of this function driven by an equation?

The sign may come from there!

No function with an external reference

Hello

It is possible to list the external references, see the help:

http://help.solidworks.com/2012/French/SolidWorks/sldworks/HIDD_LIST_EXTREFS.htm

Does the reference appear in this list?

Hello

This is a known SolidWorks bug:

SPR #: 241164

Sub-Area: Equations

Summary:Equations folder shows external references ,but doesn't have any.

Enhancement: No

"Enhancement" means improvement, there is no fix at the moment.

On your part, press File/Find References.

Do you have a single line or more?

For your information, I also have a piece with this sign but which appears precisely because it is built in a context. If I break the links, the symbol remains as long as I have an equation that refers to the geometry that was in a context.

Which SW version are you on?

Edit: a bit long to write my message :/

No external references either by going through File/List external references or by doing as instructed in the help

In the FeatureManager authoring tree, right-click the feature, component, body, or part and select List External References.

So I'm leaning towards a bug which is confirmed by Lucas

Thank you for the answers
