I'm currently following a tutorial, and when I click under tool on Equation, it doesn't appear the same as in the tutorial. I have the Sw 2012 premium version, the tutorial has the 2010 version.
Hello, yes it's normal the interface changed in 2012 but you can still create your equation, click on the filter tool at the top left ;-)

That's right.
Equation has been around for a long time but changed its look in 2012 I think.
Does this mean that there is no longer a calculator to help with the formulas? If that's what a bad improvement.

You don't need a calculator anymore since SW solves the formulas by itself.
