Error saving a basemap

Hello everyone,

I try to save a basemap (.slddrt) from a .drwdot but each time I get an error:

SolidWorks
---------------------------
An unknown error occurred when accessing C:\Users\Drafter\Desktop\test.slddrt.
---------------------------
OK   
---------------------------

I tried to change the destination folder: Same.
I also tried to change the source file (.drwdot) folder, the same thing.

Has anyone ever had this problem?
I have Solidworks 2014 SP2 / Windows 8.1 Pro

I don't know why but I'm not yet convinced of the merits of SW with windaude 8

If I had the choice I would have Windows 7 that's clear...!

A clue can be: If I remove the logo (jpg image) from this basemap, I can save it!

So there is a problem with this image, which prevents recording!

I don't prefer to get into it.

 

Who says Windows 8 says new troubles! :p

Hello

This is a bug reported at SolidWorks.

There is still a solution, Select image and uncheck the "Enable Scale Tool" option.

Edit: I've had windows 8 for 6 months, with SW 2014 and 2015 and I have no problem, on the other hand a priori to avoid absolutely if you have SolidWorks before 2014!

Thank you! By unchecking the scale option, I can save my basemap!
