I'm having a problem, when opening my assembly, Solid gives me this error message:
As a result, almost all the elements of my assembly disappear, and I cannot undo the deletion and I receive the error message from above again. So following what the software tells me, I come across this error message:
The problem is that copying doesn't interest me because it's a step, and I'm the only one who uses SolidWorks in my company. I closed the software, opened the task manager, finished everything solidworks, reopened and still the same problem (and even rebooting).
If anyone has a solution, I'm all for it!
Thank you in advance for the time you take to read and maybe answer me.
well compared to what I see in your screenshots, I understand that it's because of the referenced parts, which probably no longer exist or erased... AND also if there is simply a preview in your windows window, solidworks considers that it is opened by someone else... @+. AR.
Is it possible to put a screenshot of the assembly tree? No duplicate (same room name) in 2 different directories? This could explain why the room is already open. Or else maybe the loss of reference of the step file or step files causes this problem (moving, deletion...)
If you close everything in SW and only open room PR853706P (screenshot N°2) does the room open with something in it?
So there are duplicates but not for all elements, only standards. When closing Solid and reopening it with the part in question, I got this error message:
For me he can't find the parts (or they are corrupted) Try to open one of these parts: I guess he can't find them (messages on the yellow triangle with the exclamation mark?)
There on this screenshot, I see that the parts are in a deleted state, or are erased or moved elsewhere... Also pay attention to the configurations and display states... => Opening by dragging with Windows=> … @+. AR.
There we see that there are external references that cannot be found because parts erased or moved with the sign in front of the pieces (?) ... Uh, regade in your display states and delete these display states to see ... @+. AR
Yes, my part in mind is created from a tool I have in STEP, but it's only in this folder that I have the problem because I can open the others I've already done without any problems.
Try copying the directory with the files elsewhere on your disk and rename it. If all the files are in the new directory, SW will find its little ones (as they say). Otherwise...
