RECONSTRUCTION ERRORS: CAUSE OF GEOMETRIC CONDITIONS

Hello

I sometimes encounter this error message when removing/extruding material, I usually rework my sketch and the message disappears but then impossible to know where the problem comes from...

I'm sure you've all had this message at least once without really knowing why... and you probably live with it :o)

But this time, I have to find out where the problem comes from. My 2 sketches are closed, there is normally no overlap. I almost completely reworked the sketch; Sketch retrieved from a DXF. If it helps.)

Can you help me, please?

Thanks in advance

Hello

lots of possible reasons. Can we see the sketch?

Hello

A classic is to have geometries creating two points that touch each other in the sketch. Once extruded, it should make two coincident lines and Solidworks doesn't like that at all.

Otherwise the classic with the dxf is the lines that are stacked.

Solidworks now has sketch verification tools "tools / sketching tools / check sketch for function": it will show you these kinds of overlapping stroke problems and therefore allow you to solve them.
