Hello everyone
We are currently in the process of revising the appearance images of our Custom Materials. We can assign each material its own appearance, that's no problem.
But there are different possibilities of surface treatment for some materials.
We have defined a user-defined property « Surface » which we output on the drawing.
When selecting the custom property
(e.g. galvanized, powder-coated RAL 7035, powder-coated RAL 7043)
the appearance of the part should adapt accordingly.
We haven't yet found a way to assign an appearance to a custom property. Is there a way to do this?
Good morning;
Ce fut un problème chez nous aussi:
Finalement nous nous sommes résolu à créer chaque matériau en incluant les peintures dans leur apparences:
C'est long et fastidieux à créer mais je n'ai pas trouvé d'autres solutions efficaces.

Good afternoon;
That was also a problem for us:
Finally, we decided to create each material by incorporating the colors into its appearance:
It's tedious and tedious to build, but I haven't found any other effective solutions.

Thank you for your feedback.
We could also go in this direction, but then we have to create new drawing frames and specify the surface in the material field.
