Workspace

Hello Group,

New to Draftsight and occasional user on Autocad, I have a small problem with the workspace.

The object space is separated from toolbars, command windows, and other windows, all of which are independent.

The problem is when I enlarge the object space in full screen, the other windows are in the middle; so I have to put them aside to work.

Is there a possibility that all the windows will become one, as we had on Autocad.

The version I have is 2015 SP3 Beta for Mac.

Thank you in advance for your answer,

Kind regards

Philippe

Hello

The 2016 version was released a short time ago, I advise you to update:

Otherwise for your problem, on Windows, just move the floating windows to the edges of the DraftSight drawing window, and they are merged.

Hello

And thank you for this information. In the meantime I switched to the 2016 version hoping to fix the problem which remained the same.

Thank you for P.Guimbertau's channel which teaches us a lot of things but not this one. I don't blame him for anything because he's against icons. He therefore did not address the problem on his videos. In any case, the rest of the videos are very useful. Thank you.

As far as the window is concerned (as for Windows) nothing happens. The windows remain floating.

There is a possibility by right-clicking on the window/Lock location where we have two choices but they don't work. Should we deduce that there is a problem in the Mac-related software?

It doesn't stop me from working, but these windows are annoying when the object space is full screen.

If anyone has an idea, they will be welcome.

Kind regards

Philippe
