Is it possible to set up an assembly in such a way that if I change the distance of the whole assembly, it adds a part to a specific location?

Sorry it's an internship subject that should not be known to the general public, I would have sent it to you if it were up to me. But to put it simply, when I enlarge a door, a hinge must appear.

Or otherwise without DriveWorks with the equations, if the length is < to Xmm then the hinge is no remove if < to Xmm then hinge removed and same thing in the room for the hinge holes (if need holes)

Hello

You can use the assembly equations (a bit complicated if you are new to SW) but you can also get by with the families of parts and configurations (see example if attached).
