I received an EDRW file that I can read with E-Drawing but that I cannot use in machining.
I need to convert it to DXF, does anyone know of an efficient and cheap solution?...
Thank you.

From an edrw, you can't get a dxf file directly.
There is a possibility by first printing the plan in pdf and then using a converter (e.g. PDF to DXF converter or others).
The easiest way is to call the customer and ask him for the dxf...
No possibility from an Edrawing file.
Edrawing is a viewer, period.
Hello
I can already say, that changing the extension of the EDRW file to DXF... does not work.
And that in edrawings, I don't see any possibility to save in a DWG or DXF type format
The easiest way is either to request the file in dxf from the end customer, or to save the file in image format and insert it in Autocad to redraw on top of it using a reference dimension.
Good luck
Thank you for these confirmations.
The call to the client is the usual way that I use to be really consistent with the part of the file.
Is your file big?
if you can open it
you can take a screenshot
so save an image
