Is it possible to derange a 40x10 dish from an elliptical profile?

Hello Community,

Is it possible to de-register a 40x10 dish compared to an elliptical profile?

I have to make a railing in an elliptical stairwell (see attached file)

Thank you for your help.

With a scan function, yes.

If you have to get the unfolded one, try a swept sheet but I don't think it will work

Hello

What version of SolidWorks are you on???

yes but you have to take the dimensions at the stair nosing in X Y Z

via an X0 origin; Y0; Z0 which can be your axis of the elliptical

After creating a profile pushing these sides it's not too complicated

yes it's not bad +1

except that it seems to me that the sheet metal should not be on the fields but flat

but the principle is well seen

and + for the staircase not sure that for the levels of steps the evolution is constant at least

for the stride line yes but for the inter stair nosing not sure at all

The best I think is to take the sides at each stair nose

Yes, I showed the main lines after that, it's the measurements that will define the removal of material between the unfolded and the folded.

Thank you for your answers.

I will try to rely on the basics of ac cobra 427 to carry out the unbilling.
