Is it possible not to show certain parts of a part on a drawing?

Hello Community,

I have a part that is used regularly that is causing us problems. We have a certain number of bodies that make it up since it is a mesh panel: A frame and horizontal and vertical wires.

Visually, the mesh composed of a certain number of bodies that are useful in 3D but weigh down the assembly drawings. So is it possible to configure certain bodies/functions from the part so that they are not displayed during drawing but are visible in the assembly?

Thank you

Hello

I think it's the reconstruction that does this, try with the blocking bar by lowering it you lock the functions which will avoid unnecessary rebuilds. If you haven't activated it, just go to tools==>options and then activate the blocking bar.

You can play around with configurations and features removing bodies or display states.

Hello

Yes, you have a possibility to hide certain component(s) in your MEP.

You right-click on the component in question, in the menu you go to 'Mount/Hide' and then click on 'Hide component'

And there you have it

Hello yes,

when you are in the MEP (see attached screenshot), clicking on Solid Body Selection returns you to the part and you

All you have to do is select.
